Aphelios player almost killed Lulu with full HP from the other end of the map when he was sitting at his own base.
A video appeared on the web in which Aphelios almost kills Lulu from its own base. It wouldn’t be surprising if it wasn’t for the fact that the heroine was practically on the opposite side of the map.
Should Aphelios be nerfed in the near future?
If you think Aphelios has balance issues, you can probably use this video of one of the League of Legends players in which Aphelios almost killed Lulu with full HP from the other end of the map as your first example for people who doubt it .
In the clip, the player Aphelios first placed the Crescendum turret in the bush, and then went back to the base. As he sat there and bought items, Lulu with full HP entered the bush in which the turret stood.
Combining the Crescendum turret with the Calibrum weapon, the turret allowed Aphelios to auto-attack Lulu on the bot from his own fountain. This is because the turret applied the Calibrum effect to Lulu, which allows the player to right-click “marked” enemies anywhere on the map using an auto-off-hand weapon attack.
After three auto-attacks, HP Lulu decreased to 49 – all without leaving Aphelios from its base. It is true that Aphelios was quite fed up during this action, but many agree that the hero should not be able to do such things from such a distance to opponents.
One person wrote that the improved Calibrum auto attack should not have unlimited range, but instead – simply increased range. Other people noticed Aphelios’ terrifying potential for his burst damage and asked for possible changes or nerves in his skill set – Riot will soon have to deal with some of the exaggerated aspects of his skill.
